In its early days-in the absence of any other tool and amid only a few social media channels-Hootsuite’s user interface was groundbreaking. But this legacy tool has struggled to reinvent itself and innovate its products in comparison to its more agile competitors, such as Agorapulse and Sprout Social. Hootsuite was one of the first companies to open the market of social media management solutions. Now, let’s dig into a detailed overview of Hootsuite. For example, if you have more than 5 users and/or 20 social profiles, or you intend to grow beyond that, Hootsuite is probably not the right choice for you. The answer will depend on what your specific needs are and whether your business intends to grow. You’ll have to look at your specific needs and see whether Hootsuite is a good or bad “value for money” option. Hootsuite’s “value for money” depends on whether you’re a small company that is not growing or one that is active and expanding. And if a team’s needs grow, it is forced into Hootsuite’s $18,000/annual Enterprise plan. However, the Business plan actually costs $8,868 if you are billed annually upfront. Hootsuite’s pricing shows only annual pricing information (not the more expensive monthly option), which gives a false impression of an affordable plan for agencies and businesses. Growing agencies and businesses are forced into the Business program, which costs $8,868 upfront. This seemingly small difference is significant, for it affects how users perceive the overall experience of using these solutions. Reviews on Capterra give Agorapulse an 8.7 out of 10, and Hootsuite an 8.3. Agorapulse beats Hootsuite across the board, especially in publishing, monitoring, and reporting. Hootsuite lags behind Agorapulse in the ranking of critical features. That significant gap is backed by solid data and user testimonies. Hootsuite’s age is showing: It was ranked a low 8.1 compared to Agorapulse’s solid 9.1. It’s significantly behind the competition in user experience and ease of use. This lag has allowed Sprout Social and Agorapulse to lead in terms of user experience and perception. This legacy solution struggles to keep up with its far-more innovative competitors, according to thousands of user reviews. And if you’re torn between Hootsuite and its competitor Sprout Social, get a fair, data-driven comparison in our Hootsuite vs. If you would rather focus solely on Hootsuite’s pricing plans, read our Hootsuite’s Pricing Revealed: How Much Does Hootsuite Really Cost? article. Why would we at Agorapulse do this? As one of Hootsuite’s competitors, we have a clear, understanding of the competition’s pros and cons, pricing plans, and ratings based on Hootsuite users’ reviews and opinions. To help you in the decision-making process, we’ve written a comprehensive breakdown of Hootsuite reviews from 6,185 real Hootsuite users on the most respectable review sites, such as G2, Capterra, and TrustRadius. Should you choose Hootsuite as your social media management tool? If you’re considering it, you’re most likely asking yourself, “What are the pros and cons of Hootsuite? If this isn’t the best tool, what is? What do the Hootsuite reviews say?”

The result is an explosive and reactive, yet firm and durable string that brings the perfect balance of power and control. Arm Integrity is enhanced through the new PU HD process, combining Tecnifibre's proprietary polyurethane impregnation process and low-speed stretch to saturate and surround each fiber with the ultimate in shock absorbing material. The Playability of HDMX is revealed in a higher level of energy return, due to the utilization of Tecnifibre's premium Elastyl multifilament fibers. HDMX provides high levels of performance in three critical categories: Playability, Arm Integrity and Durability. With the brand new Hybrid 3D string HDMX, they can have it all in one package. No longer do players need to use two different strings to get the performance they need. The Hybrid 3D category is comprised of strings that combine the benefits of both PU Multifilament strings and Polyester strings into one product. Tecnifibre sets another string trend with the introduction of an entirely new string category: Hybrid 3D. (Recommended tension for mains up to 55 lbs/crosses up to 70 lbs.) It's a great choice for players who want a hybrid string with balance between playability and durability. (Recommended tension for mains 45-60 lbs/crosses 50-65 lbs.) Crossfire 18g: This string is recommended for players looking for a firmer string bed, superior durability and a livelier feel than that offered from typical Aramid hybrids. Recommended for chronic string breakers only when durability is not their primary concern. The 17 gauge enhances the feel and spin control while slightly reducing durability. (Recommended tension for mains 45-65 lbs/crosses 50-70 lbs.) Crossfire 17g: This string is recommended for power players who are willing to sacrifice some durability for better playability and ball control. Crossfire 16g: This string is recommended for power players with heavy top spin or chronic breakage problems. For juniors, a grip slightly large is preferable to slightly small both for the reasons stated above, and because they will grow into it.Īshaway Crossfire is a powerful hybrid with 100% braided and bonded Aramid mains and Synthetic Gut crosses. Often, the best you can do is to get a racquet that's fairly close. Overwraps can't fatten a grip effectively more than 1/8" though, because each layer of overwrap adds to the rounding off of the bevel edges on your handle.įor Junior Racquets, exact size matching can be difficult. On the other hand, a slightly small grip can be fattened up easily with an overwrap, whereas a too-large grip would have to be shaved down which is not always possible. A grip 1/16" too large will be comfortable, while a slightly small one might not. Generally, if you're between eighths when you measure, you'll be better off going with the larger grip. Juniors will usually measure less than 4". For the average woman, this measurement will fall between 4 1/8" and 4 3/8", for men between 4 1/2" and 4 5/8 ". Measure from the middle crease of your palm, up the line between your middle and ring fingers, to a point equal to the height of the tip of your ring finger. Hold your hand flat, with the fingers alongside one another. The most commonly used method for finding your exact grip size is as follows: On your dominant hand, note that your palm has three main creases. Too large a grip can strain your hand, and prolonged use of too small a grip can injure your hand, wrist, and elbow. This might not seem like much of a range, but the difference even 1/8" makes is surprising. Fromuth carries tennis racquets with grip sizes ranging from less than 4" for juniors to 4 5/8" for the largest adult hands. There’s not much else to say about PDF Compressor. The company also claims to delete all uploads and conversations after an hour - a nice touch if you're concerned about your data falling into the wrong hands. It’s also worth mentioning that PDF Compressor converts documents to and from PDF format, which can be a helpful additional feature for businesses. However, we’d make sure to check large documents before sending them. It might not be the most attractive website, but having used the tool for years, we can confidently say it does what it says it does: compress PDFs.Īlthough there are no options for optimizing compressed PDFs, we’ve found that compressed PDFs are still of a high quality. There’s no software to download, so you can use the platform directly from your web browser. PDF Compressor is one of the best free online PDF compressors. They said, “Okay, enough bikes-we’ll buy you a car when you’re 16.” But that didn’t have a lot of meaning to an 8-year-old kid, and it made me different in a lot of ways. They saw my brother nearly get killed on his bicycle and that was it. Was there a reason your parents wouldn’t let you ride? Play icon The triangle icon that indicates to play It’s kind of funny-it’s something I always aspired to but never really had the opportunity to until just recently. I rode my friends’ bikes often and without my parents’ permission, so I’d always dreamed of having a bicycle and being a cyclist for many years then it just happened by accident. I was over-protected as a child and wasn’t even allowed a bicycle. They had me sit on a Mongoose bicycle, and probably six weeks later I was up in Calgary shooting. Hal Needham saw me on that show and brought me in to read for RAD, which consisted of just a quick read. Plus, he shares a few details about a third BMX film on the way.īicycling: Were you a BMX rider before getting cast in RAD?īill Allen: No I came out to Los Angeles as an actor with no real experience with BMX, and I was on an episode of Hill Street Blues, which is an old cop show. Here he talks about how he started riding BMX, what it’s like to be a cult hero, and some of the biggest changes in the sport since RAD came out. Now, after a 30-year drought in BMX film, the 52-year-old actor has a new role in Heroes of Dirt, the first cinematic BMX movie to be released since. Next thing we know they might put it on T-shirts at Sam Goody & take all the fun out of it.Since 1986, Bill Allen has been primarily recognized for one iconic part-the role of BMX racer Cru Jones in the cult classic RAD. (And so is everyone else you've shown it to.) Either way you'd better get your insider-status and enjoy this movie now. It's got that same sort of odd quality that a "Duck Tales" or a "Saved by the Bell" episode has: You can't explain why on earth you're still watching & enjoying it as an intelligent adult. And it's too bad this movie was made before the era of "goof reels" during the end credits, because they probably got some real whoppers on film during this production.) I can quote every line of this movie, but I still can't put my finger on what aspect of it makes it hold up so well. (Think: "Jackass" but not so intentional. And for that 13-year-old, it's plenty of fun watching a character in "Rad" just trying to learn an (outdated) backflip move in the schoolyard using a hockey helmet & some old bed mattresses. In real life the average 13-year-old spends weeks teaching himself to do a decent bunny hop. Yes, of course it's outdated now, and modern X-games riders like Dave Mirra can demonstrate a lot more technical skill on multi-directional spins & stuff, but ultimately that's beside the point. The bicycle stuntwork in "Rad" is stellar. The whole thing feels sorta like a cheesy 80's sitcom doing its big 2-hour episode for sweeps week, and the network gave it some money for a real location shoot & some extra cuss words. everything about the production is reasonably serviceable for the era, but certainly not GOOD either. The plot, the acting, the characters, the one-liners. It's one of those movies that unintentionally became a cult flick just by being so straightforward. Nothing particularly original or interesting about it, but for some reason it withstands repeated viewings and still seems like fun. It's your basic "High-school dork beats bully & gets girl using his worthless social-outcast skill that everyone in this little universe is oddly obsessed with" (happens all the time in the 80's).
If you are happy with your shapes, you can perfect them by sanding them down with a sanding sponge. From there, you can saw out both shapes using a jigsaw and a jigsaw blade for curves. Then, predrill a hole using your 8 mm wood drill bit. Place scrap wood under the places you will be drilling and secure everything using G-clamps. Once you have drilled the circle, you can continue on with the square and the triangle. Option 2: Drill the box from the inside first, before drilling through from the outside. Option 1: Place a piece of scrap wood under it while drilling. Tip: You can prevent the wood from being drilled out of shape in two ways. Secure the parts using G-clamps before drilling and make sure to wear protective goggles and ear plugs. Now, drill a circle where you have made the marking. You can decide how to arrange the pieces, how they will look and at what height they will be positioned. This will form the centre of the first puzzle piece. Measure the centre point of the box and mark it using a pencil. We’ll show you how we went about it below. If you like, you can choose your own shapes and decide how big they are, as well as how they are arranged. The individual pieces are the outlines of simple geometric shapes, like a circle, a triangle and a square. The shape sorting puzzle in our example is fairly straightforward. Heavy-duty outdoor patio bins with weather-resistant, locking lids can be the perfect place to store lawn toys, pillows, hammocks and all the other things that make summer outdoors wonderful and comfortable. Avoid the cliché of wall to wall carpet of tossed clothing by encouraging your child to pick up that stuff and get it out of sight. Just open the lid, and toss the clutter that has accumulated on the floor into the container – out of sight, and out of mind, at least until next wash day. Large wicker bins can be used for everything from toys to linens to laundry. Window seats can come in a variety of sizes and styles from the Disney decorated boxes for the preschool set to more elaborate and sturdier arrangements for older children. When things are put away, it is simply an attractive bench. Here is a great idea: a toy chest with an upholstered lid so it doubles as a seat as well as storage. Also, a great place to stash those extra quilts and maybe even some quilt making materials. Toys of a more breakable nature can be stored here without fear that a younger sibling will inadvertently smash them. Older children will appreciate the protective nature of a large oak toy box. One final word on this one – because it is canvas, there are fewer worries about pinched fingers or thumped heads from a heavy lid. It is the perfect place to bundle away clutter before Grandma or Great-Aunt Seraphina show up to criticize youthful housekeeping skills. Easy to pack for moving or to fold away when not needed, it is large enough to hold any number of building blocks or stuffed creatures. You can make any youngster's day by providing them with a canvas toy box.
